Rampura ML Tower fire doused

The fire that broke out at a garment factory in Rampura of Dhaka was doused this afternoon.

No casualty was reported in the incident, Proloy Kumar Saha, officer in-charge of Rampura Police Station, told The Daily Star.

Eleven units of firefighters extinguished the fire around 4:30pm, two-and-half hours after its inception at Asiana Garment Industry factory on the fifth floor of 12-storey ML Tower on Wapda Road, he said. 

Further details of the fire incident could not be known immediately.
