'Ensure quick justice for raped Marma girl'

Eminent personalities yesterday demanded that the government immediately ensure justice for the raped Marma girl and her sexually harassed sister.

They issued a joint press statement, saying that procrastination in providing the medical report has raised people's suspicion.

They also demanded that harassment of the girls' family be stopped immediately.

Dhaka University Professor Gitiara Nasreen and Jahangirnagar University Professor Anu Muhammad are among the 45 personalities.
