DU students demonstrate for Santals

Teachers and students of Dhaka University yesterday demonstrated on the campus demanding an end to the oppression on Santals of Gaibandha.

Wielding placards, around 200 students and teachers of the anthropology department formed a human chain at Aparajeya Bangla.

Meanwhile, Universal Peace Federation-Bangladesh formed another human chain at the base of Raju Sculpture protesting the recent attacks on Rohingyas in Myanmar, Hindu minorities and Santals.
