DMP celebrates 42nd anniversary

Dhaka Metropolitan Police authorities celebrated their 42nd founding anniversary amid festivity in the capital's Rajarbagh Police Lines yesterday.

Home Minister Asaduzzaman Khan Kamal inaugurated the programme around 3:00pm by cutting a cake preceded by a procession starting from DMP Headquarters to Rajarbagh Police Lines. DMP Commissioner Asaduzzaman Mia said various steps have been taken to digitise the services at police stations to reduce public harassment.
