Dhaka condemns Houthi missile attacks in Saudi cities

Bangladesh condemned the recent series of missile attacks by Houthi rebels in three Saudi cities of Riyadh, Narjan and Jizan.

“It is also a matter of concern that two hostile drones had entered Saudi airspace. However, these were successfully intercepted by the Saudi air defence forces,” said a foreign ministry statement yesterday.

“We stand by the brotherly people and the government of Saudi Arabia in their efforts to counter aggressive acts of the Houthi rebels,” the statement added.
