Death anniversary

Today is the 30th death anniversary of student leader Mirza Abu Raihan Jaglu, who was killed in police firing during students' movement against increased bus fare in Tangail town in 1987.

Different programmes including placing wreaths at his memorial plaque, doa mahfil and food distribution among the poor will be held.

Jatiotabadi Chatra Dal Tangail district unit will hold a memorial meeting on the Shaheed Minar premises in the town.
