Today is the first death anniversary of Syed Ahmed Kamal, Mutawalli of Hazarat Shah Kamal (R) estate of Durmut, Jamalpur.

He was the father of Syed Mohammad Kamal, country manager of MasterCard.

Several doa mahfils were held on the occasion in the capital's Uttara and at Durmut Jame Masjid in Jamalpur yesterday.
