Criminal held with arms in Jessore

A fugitive in many cases, including mugging and extortion, was arrested with a locally-made pistol, one round of bullets and two grammes of heroin in Chachra area of Jessore town yesterday, said police.

The arrestee is Taijel Isam, 30, resident of Bejpara area of the town. A case was filed.
