Criminal held with arms in Jessore

Police arrested a man listed as thug along with a pistol and two rounds of bullet in Bag Achra Sat Mile area in Sharsha upazila of Jessore district on Thursday night.
The arrestee is Mohon Ali, 26, son of Mokarram Ali of Kholadanga village in Sadar upazila of the district.
Acting on a tip-off, a team of police raided the area and arrested Mohon Ali from a house.
Inamul Haque, officer-in-charge of Sharsha Police Station, said Mohon was wanted in several cases filed with Sharsha and Jessore police stations.
