'Criminal' arrested with gun

Detectives arrested an alleged criminal with a shutter gun from his house in Boktarpur area of Savar yesterday.

The arrestee is Suzzad Hosen, 27.

Six toy pistols, eight sharp weapons, some police batons, signal lights and a grill cutter were recovered from his possession, said AFM Sayed, officer-in-charge of Detective Branch of Dhaka (north).

Meanwhile, detectives arrested a woman, Nurunnahar, 42, in Bankcoloni area with 30 Yaba tablets. Two cases were filed.
