Construction worker falls to death in Dhaka

A construction worker died after falling from the third floor of an under-construction building on Old Airport Road in Dhaka this morning.

The deceased is Sabuj Miah, 25, son of Abul Kashem of Bhuapur upazila of Tangail.

Lebu Miah, a fellow worker who was present at the site, said Sabuj lost control over him and fell to the ground from the third floor of the building around 7:30am.

He was declared dead at Dhaka Medical College Hospital, Bachchu Miah, a sub-inspector of DMCH police camp, told The Daily Star.
