College girl body found in Jessore

Police recovered the body of a college girl from her house at Monirampur Sadar upazila of Jessore yesterday morning.

The dead is Labanno Kundu, 19, daughter of Shakhor Kundu and a student of Monirampur Womens’ College.

Police recovered the body and sent it to Jessore Medical College Hospital morgue for an autopsy.

Mokarram Hossain, officer-in-charge of Monirampur Police Station, told The Daily Star that after getting the autopsy report they can say whether it was a “murder” or “suicide”.

A unnatural death case was filed.
