CCC engineer in jail for graft
A Chittagong court yesterday sent an acting executive engineer of Chittagong City Corporation engineer to jail after rejecting his bail prayer in a case filed over earning wealth worth Tk 34 lakh from unknown sources and concealing information of wealth worth Tk 1.5 lakh.
The Anti-Corruption Commission yesterday arrested Saifur Rahman in the port city, said Jafor Ahmed, assistant director of ACC, Chittagong-1.
