Case filed over attack on Sylhet school event
A case was filed yesterday following Sunday's attack allegedly by a group of Muslim devotees at Durgakumar Government Primary School in Sylhet during a celebration to distribute textbooks among the students.
None was arrested till yesterday in the case in which 30 to 35 unknown people were accused, said Sohel Ahmed, officer-in-charge of Sylhet Kotwali Police Station.
The attack was carried out during a break for Zohr prayers, forcing the school authorities to stop the programme.
