Bullet-hit body found on roof

The bullet-hit body of a youth was found on the roof of a one-storey building in the capital's Kadamtali yesterday afternoon.

The body of Sohel, 22, of Matlab upazila in Chandpur, bore bullet wounds in the head and a cut in the throat, said Kadamtali police.

The recovery of the body came after locals informed police that he was taken onto the roof by three persons.

The body was sent to Sir Salimullah Medical College Hospital morgue for autopsy.

The reason behind the killing could not be ascertained immediately.
