BSF returns 17 Bangladeshis held for intrusion into India

Seventeen Bangladeshi people who were arrested near Haridaspur border area in India on Thursday night were returned yesterday morning.

Indian Border Security Force arrested them for illegally entering the Indian territory without any necessary documents.

The 17, including five women and three children, hailing from Narail and Bagerhat, crossed border with the help of brokers paying Tk 700 per person. They were handed over to Benapole port police.
