BRICS-BIMSTEC Summit: PM flies to Goa Sunday
Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina will leave for Goa, India on Sunday on a two-day official visit to attend the BRICS-BIMSTEC Outreach Summit.
During the visit, she will also have meetings with world leaders, including Russian President Vladimir Putin and Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
She will hold bilateral meetings with Bhutanese Prime Minister Tshering Tobgay and then attend lunch to be hosted by Chief Minister of Goa Laxmikant Parsekar in honour of BIMSTEC leaders.
Afterwards, Hasina will hold meetings with Thai Prime Minister Prayut Chan-o-cha and Russian President Vladimir Putin.
She will also join the retreat meeting of the BIMSTEC leaders. Later, the premier will attend the summit and deliver her statement.
Later, she will have meetings with her Nepalese counterpart Pushpa Kamal Dahal and Indian counterpart Narendra Modi.
The PM is scheduled to arrive in Dhaka around 10:45am on Monday.
