Police recovered a body of a indigenous woman in Gulshan of Dhaka this morning.
The body of the indigenous woman, aged around 28, was found near a house at Road no 12 in Gulshan around 8:30am, police said.
“Injury marks are found on chest, neck and other parts of her body,” Sirajul Islam, officer-in-charge (OC) of Gulshan Police Station, told The Daily Star adding, “She was wearing a black jeans and kamiz.”
Identity of the deceased could not be ascertained immediately, he said.
Police suspected that the miscreants might have left the body in the area after killing her elsewhere, the OC said.
The body was sent to Dhaka Medical College morgue for autopsy, he said, adding that law enforcers were trying to identify her.
