BCL man hit by train during AL's reception to PM dies

A Bangladesh Chhatra League leader was killed after being hit by a train when he was talking on phone standing on the rail line in the capital's Khilkhet yesterday afternoon during Awami League's reception to Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina.

Ismail Hossain, 27, was a municipal-level leader of Kanchpur in Rupgani of Narayanganj, said a Jubo league leader of the same unit, who was with him at that time.

He was rushed Dhaka Medical College Hospital where doctors declared him dead.
