Arrest of rapists of Moulvibazar woman sought

Residents of tea garden areas and indigenous leaders and students brought out a procession in Shamsernagar of Moulvibazar yesterday demanding that rapists of a tea garden woman leader be sued and arrested immediately.

The woman was gang raped inside a tea garden in Kamalganj upazila on June 3. The protesters gave law enforcers 24 hours ultimatum to file a case against the culprits. Local UP member Meri Ralf and indigenous leader Sunil Mridha,also  joined the programme.
