Another held for Badal murder

Detectives have arrested an accused in Bangladesh Chhatra League former leader Mehedi Hasan Badal murder case in Narsinghdi.

Acting on a tip-off, the Detective Branch of Chittagong Metropolitan Police arrested Tanvir Hasan, 23, of the port city, on Wednesday night. With Tanvir, three persons have so far been arrested in the case. Badal, a former president of BCL's Chittagong Polytechnic Institute unit, was shot dead by unknown miscreants near his house at the port city's Sher Shah area on September 1 night.
