The Aga Khan Foundation (AKF) organised a seminar titled “Doing Well by Doing Good: A Discussion on Business and Philanthropy” at a conference centre in the capital on Saturday. Representatives from a number of top business houses of the country took part in the programme to discuss how businesses can contribute to social development through corporate philanthropy and corporate social responsibility, said a press release.
Speaking as the chief guest, prime minister's International Affairs Adviser Dr Gowher Rizvi described the distinction between charity and philanthropy.
