Ajifa Khatun passes away

Ajifa Khatun, mother of Daily Ittefaq's sports editor Motaher Hossain Masum, died of old age complication at a hospital in Dhaka yesterday, aged 76, said a press release.

Ajifa left behind four sons, one daughter and a host of well-wishers to mourn her death.

Her body will be taken to Feni and will be laid to rest at the family graveyard in Chagolnaiya today.
