ACC arrests Rajuk officer

Anti-Corruption Commission yesterday arrested an authorised officer of Rajuk in a case filed for giving fake approval of a commercial building in Banani.

Mizanur Rahman was held in the capital's Segunbagicha, ACC sources said.

ACC also arrested one Shamsul Alam Talukdar in Chittagong's Agrabad over misappropriating Tk 1.15 crore.

Meanwhile, it held field assistant of Rural Poverty Alleviation Programme of Bangladesh Palli Unnayan Board Mizanur Rahman Mizan in Noakhali over gobbling up Tk 21.2 lakh.
