Abducted siblings rescued, 1 held

Police rescued two siblings from a house at Vakurta in Savar yesterday two days after they were abducted from their house at Emandipur of Savar.

Quoting victims' father Momin Miah, police said one Sabuj Khan abducted Moniruzzaman, 7, and Billal Hosen, 3, alluring them of giving biscuits on Tuesday.

Later, Sabuj, a rickshaw puller in the area, called Momin, a garment worker, demanding Tk 50,000 as ransom.

After detaining Sabuj's father Taru Kha police managed to arrest Sabuj and rescue the boys.
