Abducted boy rescued, one held in Ctg

Police yesterday rescued an abducted boy from Abdupara area of Chittagong city.

The victim is Emon Hossain, 10, son of Ruhul Ameen, resident of Banolata Residential area.

Police said on June 11, Kabir Hossain, 25, an acquaintance of Emon's family, went to their house and abducted him alluring him of buying an ice-cream, said police.

On information police arrested Kabir and rescued Emon.

Kabir wanted to marry Emon's sister and to put pressure on the family he abducted Emon, police added.
