50,000 Yaba recovered in Ctg

Members of Bangladesh Coast Guard (east zone) recovered 50,000 pieces of Yaba tablets, worth Tk 2.5 crore, in Anwara upazila of Chittagong early yesterday.

On information, a team of Coast Guard conducted a drive in Jewelyer Ghat area and recovered the Yaba tablets from a bag, said Dickson Chowdhury, staff officer of Coast Guard (east zone).

The person carrying the bag fled sensing the drive, he added.
