4 robbers held in N'ganj

Four robbers were arrested while they were trying to commit robbery on a ship in the Meghna River in Baradi area of Narayanganj yesterday.

The arrestees are Gazi Arman, 24, Monir Hossain, 27, of Ulukandi village, Khalil Hossain, 19, of Mamlotpur village and Akter Hossain, 25.

Shariful Islam, SI of Araihazar Khangkanda outpost, said a speed boat, two large choppers, some iron rods were seized form their possession. A case was filed in this connection.
