4 kids hurt in Ctg boundary wall collapse

Four children were injured as a boundary wall of an under-construction building collapsed in Chittagong city today.

The victims -- Sajib, 10, Mehedi, 8, Riyad, 6 and three-year-old Arif -- are undergoing treatment at Chittagong Medical College and Hospital, reports our district correspondent.

The boundary wall collapsed on the children in Nandan Kanon area around 12:45pm when they were playing beside it, said Jashim Uddin, officer-in-charge of Chittagong Kotwali Police Station.

The kids were rescued by the fire fighters from a nearby fire station soon after the incident, said Ali Akbar, a senior station officer of the station.
