32 Shibir men arrested in Ctg

Police arrested 32 leaders and activists of Islami Chhatra Shibir from different areas of Chittagong yesterday and  Saturday.

In Keranirhat of Satkania upazila, 19 including Anwar Hossain, 25, president of Satkania-unit Shibir, were arrested on Saturday on charge of holding a secret meeting to make plans for 'subversive activities', police raided a Kindergarten school and arrested them. Some leaflets, banners and Jihadi books were also recovered after raiding a Shibir office in Baituf Sharaf Complex near the school. Meanwhile, 13 other Shibir activists were arrested from Sher-e-Bangla Hall of Chittagong Government College in the city on the same charge.
