3 ‘traffickers’ held, 2 victims rescued in Dhaka

The Rapid Action Battalion (Rab) detained three alleged human traffickers and rescued two victims in separate places in the capital early today.

Md Washim Akter Nayan, 27, Md Jamal Sarker, 26, and Md Siddiqur Rahman, 39, were picked up from Pallabi, Darus Salam and Kafrul areas between 1:00am and 4:00am, said Suman Ahmed Shaon, operation officer of Rapid Action Battalion-4.
