3 suspected militants held in Ctg

Police, conducting a drive in Barabkuda of Sitakunda upazila in Chittagong, held three suspected militants yesterday evening.

Tipped-off, police raided the eastern side of Barabkuda Bazar and arrested them, said Superintendent of Police Hafiz Akter.

The identities of the detainees could not be known immediately.

“The three are being interrogated,” said the SP, adding that whether the detainees had any link with militancy will be revealed after interrogation.

Police were conducting the drive till filling of the report at 7:30pm.
