15 containers of restricted art paper seized at Ctg port

Customs Intelligence officials seized 15 containers of art paper at Chittagong Port yesterday on charge of importing the goods violating bond policy.

A garment accessories manufacturing firm -- Quest Accessories (BD) Ltd at Uttara EPZ in Nilphamari -- imported 310 tonnes of art paper worth Tk 3 crore in those containers under bond facility last week.

On information, Customs Intelligence officials intercepted the delivery of the consignment as import of art paper under bond facility is not permitted, said the officials.
