TOP FIVE UNDER 35

For users on a tight budget or in need of a basic laptop that can double as an on the go entertainment tool and office accessory; we have compiled a list of top five laptops under 35K. While compiling the list we took in account of four things: durability, usability, performance and aesthetics.

ASUS X441UA

Why Buy: ASUS is a time-tested player in the field of entry level budget laptop. And X441UA is a tough contender in this segment. You get a very good display, acceptable sound quality on speakers and above average performance. The 7th gen i3 processor at this budget isn't new but the respectable battery life makes it a 'must-consider-when-you-are-on-a-budget' laptop.

Dell Inspiron 15

Why Buy: Dell's Inspiron series is one of the most sold laptop series in Bangladesh and that's for a good reason. We particularly admire the 15inch entry level version with 6th gen Intel i3 processor with 4GB RAM, 1TB HDD and a DVD-RW (if you are ever in need of one). This might not be one of the best looking devices in our list but certainly one of the most reliable one. You get 2 years of warranty too.

ACER Switch SW1-011

Why Buy: Perfect convertible device for regular home use. You can use it to play videos, watch movies, shoot emails and many more. The device comes with an Intel Atom Processor which might feel lagging time to time but the screen of the device is really good. The IPS display is glossy hence a total fingerprint magnet. Other than that, we don't have much complains.

HP X360 (11.6)

Why Buy: The X360 2-in-1 series is world renowned for being one of the most flexible and versatile device on the market. The one we are talking about here is an 11.6 inch device powered by an Intel Celeron processor and 4GB RAM. For regular office works i.e. browsing, typing, basic movie watching, this device is simply perfect.

Lenovo Ideapad IP310

Why Buy: Lenovo Ideapad IP310 was created to be a perfect contender for the Chromebook by ASUS. Eventually, the IP310 was able to create a fan following of its own. It might be a huge laptop with a not so tiny processor; still it gets the daily mundane jobs done without any hiccup. The build quality of the device is really good.

HONOURABLE MENTIONS

Although, we have kept our list limited to just five laptops yet there are several other devices that deserve at least some mention. ASUS has several other offering with almost identical specs and even lower price-range. ACER, the reigning king of this segment, offers some decent devices with AMD processor under 35K. Same goes for HP and DELL which offer devices of various configurations. ZED i-Life, a relatively new brand, does offer some good devices too that we weren't able to put in our list.
