Samsung brings mobile accessories

Samsung has entered Bangladesh's mobile phone accessories market by launching its original ancillary products in order to cater the growing number of digital device users.

"Customers can now choose and buy from our vast range of accessories from selected Samsung brand shops throughout the country," said Md Muyeedur Rahman, head of mobile at Samsung Mobile Bangladesh.

The growing popularity of smartphones has developed a thriving auxiliary market for mobile accessories such as phone covers, screen protectors, level box speakers, headphones, power banks and car chargers.

The size of the accessories market stands at about Tk 2,500 crore and it is growing exponentially, according to industry people.

Samsung, already a leading smartphone brand in Bangladesh, now aims at grabbing the growing accessories market.

Smartphone users often face trouble in getting original products and even damage their valuable devices by using fake or non-branded accessories, officials of Samsung said.

Customers can verify the authenticity of every Samsung accessory by entering the product's serial number

through a specific website -- http://samsung.smart-techbd.com/SamsungPortal/Samsung.

Customers will also get replacement warranty ranging from 90 days to 180 days for every Samsung product.
