NSU MIBC successfully organised Intra Ignite 2022

NSU Marketing and International Business Club organised 'Walton Laptop presents Intra-Ignite 2022' Associate Sponsored by Education XYZ and Driven by Shuttle in Association with The Daily Star. It was recently held to bring out the aspiring marketers of North South University. This was the second edition of the first-ever Intra-NSU business competition. Intra-ignite 2022's ultimate objective was to channel the shared zeal of business enthusiasts into practical involvement in real-life situations.

In the first round, each team had to devise a solution to a real-world business problem; in the last round, they had to put together a whole business piece. During these phases of the event, the understanding of fundamental market functions was investigated. This year was more inclusive as it wasn't limited to only club members, and any North South University student had the option to participate with their team.

The final 12 teams were chosen from a starting pool of more than 200 teams. The finalists presented their original and inventive pieces to a distinguished panel of judges in the final round.

The grand finale of Intra-Ignite 2022 was enlightened in the presence of the Chief Guest, Dr M. Ismail Hossain, Pro-Vice-Chancellor of North South University, Session Chair, Dr Abdul Hannan Chowdhury, Dean of the School of Business and Economics, North South University, Guests of Honor, Dr Gour Gobinda Goswami, Director, Office of Student Affairs, North South University,  Guests of Honour Dr Tamgid Ahmed Chowdhury, Director, of MBA & EMBA programs, North South University, Guests of Honor, Md Khasro Miah, Director, of Career and Placement Center (CPC), North South University, and Guest of Honor Dr Farzana Nahid, Assistant Professor, Department of Marketing and International Business, North South University.

The essays of the Top 6 finalists will be featured in the Intra-ignite 2022 event magazine. The Top 3 winning teams had a Prize Pool of Thirty Thousand Taka, with Ten Thousand Taka allotted for each team. The Three teams announced as the top were Edge Runners, 3 Pakhis, and Team Cheesecake.
