1.3m people informed of milk’s benefits: Dano
Arla Foods Bangladesh Ltd, producer of milk powder brand Dano, yesterday announced to have informed about 1.3 million people in 1,845 areas, including 202 garment factories, about the benefits and nutrition of milk.
At a press conference at the Pan Pacific Sonargaon Dhaka, they said to have conducted more than 7,319 activation sessions around the country.
"We control our entire supply chain from the grass that is fed to our cows to the delivery of the tasty products in our consumers table ensuring that our consumers have full confidence in our products," said Galib Bin Mohammad, head of marketing.
"We are not only committed to ensure that each of our products meet the high-quality standards but are also proactive in creating value in our business sector," said Peter Hallberg, managing director.
"…be it through spreading awareness on nutrition or through building capacity of the industry," he said.
Danish Ambassador to Bangladesh Winnie Estrup Petersen was present.
