SPARRSO, a2i join hands for dev of space science

Bangladesh Space Research and Remote Sensing Organization (SPARRSO) and Aspire to Innovate (a2i) have joined hands for the research and development of space science and remote sensing technologies.

Md Abdus Samad, chairman of SPARRSO, and Dewan Muhammad Humayun Kabir, project director at a2i, signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) in this regard at the ICT Tower in Dhaka's Agargaon recently.

Zunaid Ahmed Palak, state minister for ICT, and NM Zeaul Alam, senior secretary at ICT Division, were present at the event.

Under the MoU, a long-term roadmap of SPARRSO will be formulated by preparing a draft strategy paper and technical projects will be taken in the light of the paper.

They will also work together for the optimal use of the space science and remote sensing technologies and prepare feasibility studies and action plans, according to a statement.
