Sanem to host 2-day economists’ conference next week

The South Asian Network on Economic Modeling (Sanem) is going to organise the two-day Annual Economists' Conference 2023 from February 4 in Dhaka.
Selim Raihan, executive director of the Dhaka-based non-profit research organisation, announced the programme at a press conference held virtually today.
The annual conference titled "Building Resilience to Shocks: Priorities, Challenges and Prospects" will take place at the Brac Centre on February 4 and February 5.
There will be 23 sessions in the conference where participants will focus on health, education, poverty, inequality, environment, labour market, gender, trade, structural transformation, macroeconomics, monetary economics, energy, digital economics, and emerging global economic challenges, said Prof Raihan.
Scholars and economists from home and abroad will present their research work at the event, according to the organiser.
