Govt to buy 20 microbuses for DC offices
The government is going to purchase 20 Toyota Hayes microbuses for the office of deputy commissioners.
The committee on economic affairs today approved in principle the purchase of the microbuses through the direct purchase method (DPM) from the state-owned company Pragati Industries Limited.
The Department of Public Transport under the Ministry of Public Administration will buy the silver-coloured Toyota Hayes microbuses.
In addition, the cabinet committee also approved in principle the purchase of a modern Geo Location System through DPM by the National Telecommunication Monitoring Centre under the Department of Public Security.
