09:53 PM, March 23, 2017 / LAST MODIFIED: 10:12 PM, March 23, 2017 to organise university cricket league Mar 24, the world’s biggest amateur cricket league played in 120 cities over the world, is organising the second edition of ‘Travel Booking BD University League 16/17’ from March 24.  

Teams from top universities of the country -- Dhaka University (DU), Jahangirnagar University (JU), Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology (BUET), Khulna University, North South University (NSU), American International University-Bangladesh (AIUB), Ahsanullah University of Science and Technology (AUST), BRAC University, Stamford University, BUBT, UIU and Bangladesh University-- will be participating in the tournament, according to a release.

The venue for the tournament is BWDB Cricket Ground at Banani 11 in Dhaka, the release read.

Defending champion Bangladesh University will take on Khulna University in the opening match of the tournament. Current runner-up NSU SPZ Boys will play against BRAC Blasters in the second match.
