Up to Tk 5,000 allowance for state banks' staff in haor, char areas

Officers and employees of the state-owned commercial banks in haor, island and char areas will get an allowance between Tk 1,650 and Tk 5,000.

The Banking Division of the finance ministry has issued a notification in this regard and the allowance has been made effective from today.

As per the notification, officers and employees of the state-owned commercial banks working in such areas in 16 upazilas will get this allowance.

The officials under the Grade-20 will get Tk 1,650 while Grade-19 Tk 1,700; Grade-18 Tk 1,750; Grade-17 Tk 1,800; Grade-16 Tk 1,860; Grade-15 Tk 1,940; Grade-14 Tk 2,040; Grade-13 Tk 2,200; Grade-12 Tk 2,260; Grade-11 Tk 2,500; Grade-10 Tk 3,200; Grade-9 Tk 4,400; Grade-8 Tk 4,600; and Grade-7 to 1 Tk 5,000.
