Bangabandhu-1 satellite’s PD removed

The government today dismissed the project director of Bangabandhu-1 satellite for his inefficiency, said Tarana Halim, state minister for Post and Telecommunications.

The decision of removing Golam Razzaque was taken following recommendations from Bangladesh Telecommunication Regulatory Commission’s telecom division, she said.

The government, however, has appointed BTRC Director Md Mesbahuzzaman as the new project director.
