BSF picks up 2 Bangladeshis
Indian Border Security Force (BSF) picked up two Bangladeshi cattle traders from Tentulia border area in Panchagarh early yesterday.
They are Md. Mamun, 35, son of Solimullah of Tirnoi village and Azibar Rahman, 40, of Kalandiganj village under Tentulia upazila.
Operation Officer of 18, Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) Maj ATM Nazmul Huda told this correspondent over cell phone that a BSF patrol team of Haftiagach BSF camp of 66, BSF Battalion picked up the two Bangladeshi cattle traders at about 4:30am, when they crossed the barbed wire fence to bring some cattle from India.
In the morning, BGB sent a letter to BSF for return of the cattle traders but there was no response till filing of this report at about 4:00pm yesterday.f
