BSF kills 1 in Chuadanga
Indian Boarder Security Force (BSF) gunned down a Bangladeshi cattle trader on Munshipur frontier in Damurhuda upazila of Chuadanga early today.
Victim Ahad Ali, 32, was the son of Ayub Ali in Kutubpur upazila of the district, reports our Chuadanga correspondent.
Ahad came under gun attack by the Indian border troops around 5:00am while he along with some Bangladeshi cattle traders were returning with a consignment of cattle, SM Moniruzzaman, commanding officer of 6 Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) Battalion, told The Daily Star.
Detail of the incident was not known immediately.
