Boy rescued, 2 arrested

Police rescued a boy a day into abduction and arrested two abductors from the spat in Nawabganj upazila of the district on Friday evening.
 The arrestees are Md Biplob Khan, 20, son of Siraj Uddin Khan, and Abdul Karim, 18, son of Md Mostafizur Rahman of Dhufurbari village in the upazila.
 Md Dulal, 12, son of Nur Alam of Boigram village under Hakimpur upazila, was abducted on Thursday afternoon. Later, the abductors phoned the victim's father, demanding Tk 3 lakh ransom for release of his son.
 Nur Alam informed the police about the incident the same day. Acting on a tip-off, a joint team of law enforcers from Nawabganj and Hakimpur police stations raided Bhaduria forest in Nawabganj upazila on Friday evening and rescued the boy from there.
