Bomb-hurt blockade victim dies

A woman who sustained injuries when a crude bomb hit in her head at Malibagh in the capital yesterday died at Dhaka Medical College and Hospital early today.

Victim Anwara Begum, 42, breathed her last around 4:00am.

She was a cook at the Malibagh branch of National Bank and a resident of Khilgaon.

A homemade bomb hit in her head yesterday when she was walking past a rally, on the first day of BNP-led 18-party opposition combine called 48-hour blockade.
