Blockbuster Cinemas -- situated at the Jamuna Future Park in the capital's Kuril -- have been providing a top-notch experience to Dhaka's film aficionados, with their seven-hall multiplex cinema theatre, including 3D screenings, online ticketing and coffee lounge and fast food, since its inception. Their latest film to be released was one of the most hyped films of the year, “Gravity” (in 3D). With the likes of Sandra Bullock and George Clooney in the cast and direction by Alfonso Cuaron, the film -- about a thrilling adventure of a few astronauts in outer space -- has done very well at the Box Office and film markets worldwide, while also receiving critical acclaim.
“Gravity” premiered at the Blockbuster Cinemas on December 30, and will be on the showtime roster from January 1, according to a press release.
