Best foods to eat at Sehri

Anas (RA) quotes the Prophet (Pbuh) as saying: “Make sure to have your suhoor meal, for suhoor is blessed.” These five healthy foods are a must have for sehri if you want to maintain your energy levels till you break your fast at dusk.
1 Bananas
This fruit is a good source of potassium and other essential nutrients. If you don't feel like having the fruit, you could make a quick protein smoothie with peanut butter, banana, yogurt, milk and cocoa powder.
2 Oats
Oats contain are slow releasing and can help give you the feeling of fullness for the greater part of the day.
3 Lentils
Lentils contain complex carbohydrates which are the primary source of fuel for your body and brain. These carbs help keep energy levels stabilized.
4 Milk and Honey
A healthy drink that will keep you full for a long time, milk with a spoonful of honey ensures that your energy levels are maintained till you break your fast.
5 Eggs
Those with high cholesterol or diabetes could avoid the yolk but do include the egg white in your meal. Eggs are a good source of protein and will help keep you going all day.
