EC hands over polls materials for centres across the country

With one day left for the polls, the Election Commission today started handing over election materials -- ballot box, ballot papers and other stuff – for the polling centres across the country.

The assistant returning officers (AROs) throughout the country are handing over the materials to the presiding officers, our correspondents from different districts reports.

Our photographer visited Willes Little Flower School in Dhaka city’s Kakrail area in the morning and saw many presiding officers gathered on the school premises to collect the materials.

Presiding officers along with cops and Ansar men were seen at the school collecting the materials to be distributed to 110 polling centres of the city.

Election Commission Secretary Helal Uddin Ahmed yesterday said that ballot papers and other materials were already dispatched to all districts for the elections to be held tomorrow (Sunday).
